Telford and Wrekin Council (prior to 1998 'The Wrekin Council') is elected every four years. The Wrekin Council was a second-tier district in the non-metropolitan county of Shropshire, England. The new unitary authority (since 1998) is now the principal local authority of the borough of Telford and Wrekin. The borough is entirely parished and elections to the town and parish councils also take place every four years.
